Frank Lloyd Wright in Kansas

Kansas is a place that is close to my heart.  It is a place where I shared my love of Wright’s work with my father.  Dad always loved getting involved in things I was interested in and the two of us took time to discover Frank Lloyd Wright’s work in Wichita, Kansas together.  These buildings will always be special to me for that reason.

On their own merits, they are fantastic examples of Wright’s work.  The Corbin Education Center is a beautiful and extremely appropriate building for its use and location.  The Allen-Lambe house is one of the last Prairie homes that Wright did.  It is a wonderful home in a beautiful neighborhood.
